Laser Liposuction

What is Laser Liposuction? Smart Lipo also known as Laser Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that combines traditional liposuction with a laser technology to both remove fat and tighten skin.

Because the laser results in more efficient removal of fat, permitting use of smaller instruments, the Smart Lipo aka Laser Lipo can be performed in our NJ office under local anesthesia.  There is also reduced bruising, swelling and downtime.

The addition of laser to liposuction also allows us to tighten and reshape your skin while removing fat deposits, resulting in slimming and improvement in your body's contour and proportion.

The laser works by both disrupting fat cells and delivering heat to the skin, which causes collagen remodeling and skin tightening.  Results of liposuction are apparent as soon as swelling improves.  Results of skin tightening can be seen in about 3-6 months.

Laser liposuction can be used to treat the:

  • Abdomen

  • Waist

  • Thighs

  • Hips

  • Buttocks

  • Back

  • Upper arms

  • Neck

  • Chin

  • Inner knee

  • Chest

  • Cheeks

Laser Liposuction is a safe routine procedure performed near you in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Is This Laser Liposuction Right For Me?

Laser contouring is a great option for patients who desire shaping and tightening of their abdomen, flank and inner thigh skin, who do not want to undergo a major surgery.  Laser Liposuction is also outstanding for patients who desire lower face and neck revitalization without the downtime of a facelift or necklift.

How long is the laser liposuction surgery? With a one hour Laser Liposuction treatment at our NJ office, signs of aging, including sagging neck skin and jowls can be reduced, giving you a more youthful appearance.

The best candidates for laser liposuction are otherwise healthy adults, who are non-smokers, who feel that their excess fat deposits on their body, regardless of location, do not respond to diet and exercise.  Ideal candidates for laser liposuction also have firm, elastic skin, good muscle tone, and are within 30% of their ideal body weight.
