Expected recovery from traumatic hand injury varies significantly depending upon the extent of your injury.  Dr. Capuano will advise you as to the expected length of recovery you will be facing.  Occupational therapy is part of the expected recovery period.  This is conjunction with multiple visits to Dr. Capuano's office to check your progress.  Compliancy with your doctor visits and occupational therapy visits is integral in your road to recovery.  Make sure to note what the doctor orders and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask him or his staff, at the time of your appointment.
